Pathway Men Reach Out to Kentucky Community

Fourteen Pathway men recently embarked on a mission trip to the small, former coal mining town of  Wheelwright, Kentucky. Now a place for 700 low income residents, many homes are in desperate need of repair. The men worked with Pastor David Boyd of Wheelwright Baptist Church to help residents in the community make needed updates to their properties. Pastor Boyd has been working with the impoverished community on their homes for over 4 years. The team also convinced the Pastor to let them replace old non working windows throughout his church, letting fresh air in, for the first time in many years. The trip not only created a way for Pathway to connect with and serve the community, but forged relationships in Christ between 14 men who previously didn't know each other, as they served side by side for Christ.

Pathway's long time desire for people to connect, grow, serve, and go is really at the core of our 2 year Beyond campaign vision. Your generosity allows us to simply walk alongside these communities and proclaim the joyful news of Jesus Christ here, near, and far.
